Park and Trail Routes

Cuckoo Trail - This trail is popular amongst cyclists and walkers, great for family days out so grab your kids bike, your adult bike and anything else you need and head off!

Downs Link - This path is 37 miles long and is based in West Sussex, it serves a wonderful day out, it’s a long route so stops along the way will be needed.

Dyke Railway Trail - A cycling route like this is great if you’re looking for a trip that’ll take a day. Here you’ll find restaurants, wheelchair ramps and more!

Preston Park Cycle Track - If you’re looking for a professional setting to cycle in, this would be ideal. You could always try getting your kids used to bikes with a balance bike on a trail like this.

Bedgebury pinetum - Here you don’t even need to own your own bike, hire a bike and experience this wonderful place.

Hove park - This gorgeous park is popular amongst cyclists, offering tarmac paths to make cycling easier. You could always try a mountain bike for any uneven surfaces.

Ditchling Beacon Loop from Preston Park - This loop is 32 miles long meaning you'll be cycling for around 2 hours and 30 minutes. It's got gorgeous countryside views so it's a great spot in summer!

Coombes road to Botolphs views
- This is a 42 mile long loop and will take you around 3 hours to complete. You'll start in the centre of Brighton and cycle outwards, then later come back in.

Coastal Routes

Rottingdean to Shoreham Port - If you’re looking for a scenic route this summer, past water views and countryside bliss, then this is perfect for you.

Seven Sisters Country Park - Passing cliff faces and coastal views, this trip is great for a summers day out.

Seafront cycling - When you cycle across the seafront, you’re able to hire a bike and experience the views! Lightweight bikes are a great option for this kind of route.

Arundel boating lake - Arundel is a great place to visit, here at this boating lake, you can cycle along and also hire a boat and experience the water.

Brighton Pebbles & Pier Loop (from London Road - Brighton) - Starting at London road, this 38 mile long loop will take you into the heart of Brighton. You'll pass gorgeous waterside views and in total, you'll cycle for around 3 hours. Make sure your bike seats are comfortable before heading off!

Shoreham Estuary Loop from Hove
- This is a super easy route. It'll take around 1 hour to complete since it's 17 miles long. You'll pass by some gorgeous water views!

Saltdean Beach Loop from Aldrington
- Staying mainly on the coast, this gorgeous track will see you cycle around 1 hour and 30 minutes across 18 miles.
